Steps to follow
in order to buy a home
- Write down what kind of home you
are looking for and what features should be included.
- Establish a time frame in which
your real estate transaction should be processed.
- Pre-qualify yourselves with a
lender of your choice.
- Establish in your mind a clear
picture of what neighborhood you want to move in.
- Hire a Realtor® to show you
properties in that neighborhood.
- Make an offer on a property and
negotiate the price, financing, closing costs, repairs, appliances and time
frame in which to close the real estate transcation with the seller.
- After the offer has been accepted
your Realtor® will coordinate the execution of various services that need
to be done to the property such as and not limited to appraisal, survey, inspections,
title work and others.
- Closer to the closing date your
Realtor® will inform you to what paperwork needs to be brought to the
closing table.
- On the closing date you will receive
the keys to that property.
